Up to 70% of the human adult body is water.
Of course you know this.
According to HH Mitchell, Journal of Biological Chemisrty 158, the brain and heart are composed of 73% water and the lungs circ. 83% water. The skin contains 64 % water, muscles and kidneys 79% and even the bones are watery at 31% water.
Water and words
Dr Masaru Emoto was a Japanese researcher who claimed human consciousness has an effect on the molecular structure of water. One of the experiments he did was to place different written words on jars in which water was kept and noted the effect these words, spoken to the water, had on the water crystals being formed.
Based on his experiment it can be seen that different words and their intentions have different effects on the structure of the water crystals that were formed.
Words such as love, compassion, truth, peace, gratitude and humility created beautiful, symetrical crystals while words such as anger, hatred, loneliness, sadness and fear created distorted, non-symmetrical dysfunctional crystal structures.
Dr Emoto stated that words are the vibrational frequency of nature. Therefore beautiful words create beautiful nature. Ugly words create ugly nature. This is the root of the universe.
He wrote a number of books on this topic such as The Hidden Messages in Water and The Healing Power of Water which I highly recommend. There are further numerous You Tube video’s depicting the impact words have on water which I invite you to look at.
Let me share a secret, I am passionate about words and how they impact our daily lives. I am certain you would never have guessed.
Impact on YOU and others
On a more serious note however, if words can do this to water, imagine what words can do to your body since the majority of your body is water. Imagine what your words are doing to those around you.
Recent research has further found that water has memory – WOW.
Conclusions could be drawn from these new discoveries that human tears can hold a unique memory of an individual being, through the body’s store of water hosting a complete store of information that is linked to individual experience.
My intention is not to repeat all of Dr Emoto’s findings in this blog but rather to draw your attention to the impact your words have not only on the life you are creating; but also on the health of your physical body. If the structural impact of words on water is even 10 % as dramatic as Dr Emoto’s experiments show, should you not be considering the impact your words may be having on your body?
Reflection
Perhaps all your talk about a past hurt and how it is killing you is in fact doing just that. Those words expressing how your heart was broken by a child, spouse, friend or colleague, could it possibly have anything to do with your current heart condition?
I am not for one minute suggesting you simply forget about past hurts. I am however suggesting you reflect on whether you need to continue living in that past pain. How much space does it take up in your life?
Are you able to move forward, knowing that what the person did may have wronged you but refusing to allow that wrong to continue impacting your life.
There is a huge amount of research touching on emotions such as anger, resentment, lack of forgiveness etc. on illness and I will explore this more in a future blog but for now I invite you to ponder, just for a moment how you may unconsciously be contributing to the health status you find yourself in.
Of course you may also be a radiant picture of health and vitality because of your words. Your choice to see the possibilities in life and not the barriers. To make a someones day with your words rather than curse all the way to the office.
I suggest you think again when you say you hate drinking water while drinking it, the water is listening.
